A modern approach

Not just wedding music.
Your music.

The violin can feel elegant without feeling traditional.

I specialize in recognizable modern songs that still feel right for the moment, from a quiet processional to an upbeat recessional or cocktail hour. Oldies, timeless love songs, and classical favorites are always available too, but the heart of this service is contemporary, personal, and flexible.

From the aisle to cocktail hour

Romantic when the moment calls for it.
Upbeat when the party starts.

Repertoire

Modern first. Plenty of range.

I am continuing to expand the list, but the goal is simple: couples should be able to choose music that actually sounds like them.

Modern pop & current favorites

The center of the repertoire.

  • Birds of a Feather
  • Love Story
  • Wildest Dreams
  • Perfect
  • Shut Up and Dance
  • Plus a growing catalog of contemporary songs
Timeless & throwbacks

Familiar favorites.

  • Can't Help Falling in Love
  • Bless the Broken Road
  • Love songs and older favorites
  • Spanish-language selections such as Eso y Más
Classical

Traditional when you want it.

Classical wedding music and concert repertoire remain available for couples who want a traditional moment or a mix of classical and modern across the ceremony.

Have one song that has to be yours?

That is exactly why the base ceremony includes one custom request for the main processional. The personalized package expands that to three. Some songs translate beautifully to violin; others require more involved arranging or may not be practical, so custom requests are confirmed individually before the event.

What couples & planners are saying

Trusted when the moment matters.

We could not have asked for a better violinist at our wedding. He took every song we requested and weaved it into the perfect ceremony soundtrack, synced perfectly with our procession.

“10/10 would recommend.”

We originally hired a harpist, but she fractured her leg. Thankfully David was able to take over for her and play the violin for a small wedding ceremony. With only 3 days left he made it happen in the morning! We are very grateful for that. Played beautifully and was always very kind and communicative!!

COMMON QUESTIONSWEDDINGS & EVENTS

Before you inquire

A few helpful answers.

Do you only play modern music?

No. Modern pop is the main focus of the wedding service, but timeless love songs, oldies, classical favorites, and other styles can be mixed into the day.

What counts as a custom song?

A custom request is a song that is not already in my current repertoire and needs to be learned, adapted, arranged, or otherwise prepared specifically for your event. The $350 ceremony includes one; the $475 personalized ceremony includes up to three.

Can you provide amplification for an outdoor wedding or cocktail hour?

Yes. I have a full professional sound system and can provide amplification and backing-track playback when appropriate for the venue and event format.

What if the ceremony and cocktail hour are in different locations at the venue?

That is something I plan around in advance. The setup requirements and transition time depend on how far apart the spaces are and whether separate sound setups are needed. Those logistics are confirmed before booking the final event plan.

Can I request a song that is unusual or outside your current styles?

Absolutely ask. I will confirm whether it translates well to violin and whether a suitable arrangement or backing track is practical. Very involved requests may require an additional arrangement fee.
