Studio Policies
Clear expectations support consistent progress.
These policies help protect lesson time, maintain consistency, and support a professional studio experience for each family.
Enrollment
Student enrollment is monthly and continues until withdrawal. Two weeks’ notice is required for withdrawal or schedule changes. Time slots cannot be held unless paid in full.
Tuition & Payment
Tuition is paid monthly at the beginning of the month and reserves the student’s weekly lesson time. Online payments are preferred.
Cancellations
Student cancellations are non-refundable and are not rescheduled. If I cancel a lesson, families receive a makeup, refund, or tuition credit.
Holidays
Lessons are generally canceled for major holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s, but not necessarily for Monday holidays or school-specific closures.
Recitals
Two recital opportunities are offered each year, typically in spring and winter. Recital and accompanist fees may apply when applicable.
Communication
Because students are scheduled back-to-back, progress, scheduling, and longer questions are best handled by text, call, or email outside lesson time.
